Like Spotify for your own library, and it plays over everything.
A calm, console-simple home for your whole computer, with Solis, an assistant you can trust to run it.
Big friendly tiles, a controller in your hand if you like, and nothing to hunt for. Each App will feel familiar on day one.

Like Spotify for your own library, and it plays over everything.

A Netflix-style home for everything you watch and read, tracked for you.

Like YouTube, without the endless scroll.

Like Google Photos, on your own machine.

Every file on every device, in one place.

Give it any link and it works out the rest.

Also what Solis knows about you, and you can read every word.

A private connection today. Coming: an antivirus that understands what it sees.
That laptop in your drawer becomes storage and a second screen. Nothing is ever borrowed in a way that takes something from you.
“Finish downloading that series on the PC and put it on my laptop for the train.”
Not one for AI? Everything in POLARIS works without ever talking to Solis.
You decide what Solis is allowed to touch.
They're sealed, and quietly put back if anything changes them.
Nothing slipped into a web page can plant itself there.
You look it over once before anything real changes.
AI moves weekly. When something better comes along, POLARIS takes it in, and your memory, settings and Apps stay exactly as they were.
POLARIS picks the right one for each job, and steps aside when a game wants the graphics card.
Tasks run in their own workspace until they're done, and you review the result once.
Sealed to you, every word visible, and nothing can sneak into it.
Measure any model on your own machine before you trust it with anything.
Attacks used to be code and con artists. Now they're agents. Your defence should be too, and it should be yours.
Built on what's already here: agents kept in a sandbox, rules they can't touch, and a true record of everything that happened.
I set out to build an assistant I could talk to that would actually run my computer for me. I soon found that no assistant can be better than what it can reach, or safer than what contains it.
So I built what it reaches, then what keeps it in check, and made every part replaceable so it wouldn't be out of date in a year. Somewhere along the way it stopped being an assistant and became the place I use my computer.
