The angry relative — a delayed diagnosis
Your brief
Mr Hollis's mother was admitted four days ago with abdominal pain. A CT yesterday showed a perforation that was not identified on her admission imaging. He has asked to speak to a doctor and is visibly angry. Speak with him.
The patient answers what you ask and volunteers nothing you do not. If they start to ramble you can cut them off, as you would in the room.
This browser cannot listen — you will type. Fluency timing needs speech.
